Q: What are the dimensions of your accommodations?
A: Our apartments are each approximately 750 square feet, which consists of two furnished bedrooms, a bathroom, and a common area with a kitchenette and full-sized refrigerator.
Q: Do you have a meal plan?
A: Unfortunately, we do not. However, as mentioned, our units are equipped with a small kitchenette, including a two-burner stove top, a full-sized refrigerator, and pantry area. We invite our residents to bring a microwave oven and/or toaster oven. There is a snack bar and student-run restaurant on campus within easy walking distance of the student housing. Prepaid convenience meal cards my be purchased at the bookstore for use in the campus cafeteria.
Q: What are the proximate food costs living in housing?

Q: How far is the CSH from downtown Sonora?
A: We are about three miles from essential areas of Sonora, and two-way public transportation is available.
Q: What is the public transportation from California Student Housing into town?
A: Tuolumne County Transit and Calaveras County Transit provide shuttle transportation to and from the college.

Q: Where do the majority of your student residents call “home” in the off-season?
A: Interestingly enough, they come from all over California. We host a large population from the greater Bay Area, Southern California and Sacramento. Other students come from such states as Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada and other Western-Southwestern states. Even international students are residents in our apartments.
Q: How many students live in student housing?
A: We house between 140 and 160 students, with from two to four students per apartment.
Q: Does the rent include utilities?
A: Yes. Rent includes all standard utilities in addition to a satellite TV connection, power, and telephone jacks.
